STEP 1.1. Make the batter: Grind oats with ½ cup water until smooth (or slightly coarse). Transfer to a bowl and mix in besan, salt, onion, chilli, ginger, ajwain, cumin, black salt, amchur, pepper, kasoori methi, turmeric, chilli powder, coriander, and a dash of water to achieve a pourable batter.
STEP 2.2. Cook the chillas: Heat a tawa, drizzle oil/ghee, pour a ladle of batter, and spread thin (or thick, per preference). Cook until holes appear, drizzle oil, flip and cook each side until golden. Repeat with remaining batter. #Aptivate
