• 1.5 cup Water
• 1 tablespoon cumin seeds
• 1 onion finely chopped
• 2 green chillies chopped finely

• 3 dried red chillies+ 1 broken
• 1 small tomato chopped
• 1 small onion chopped
• 6 curry leaves
• 1 pinch asafoetida powder
• 1 teaspoon tablespoon + 1 gingerly oil
• 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
• 3 garlic cloves peeled and chopped roughly
• a small lemon sized tamarind ball
• salt to season
• 1 teaspoon chana daal
• 1 teaspoon urad daal
