STEP 1.In a vessel take 1 cup of all-purpose flour/maida and 5 cups of water.
STEP 2.Whisk it well without any lumps.
STEP 3.Cover with a lid. Keep aside for 2 days for fermentation.
STEP 4.On the second day sieve out the mix using a clean cloth
STEP 5.Grease a baking tray with some ghee
STEP 6.Base the tray with ¼ cup of crushed cashews and keep it aside.
STEP 7.Bring to boil in a vessel 1 cup of water and 1 ¾ cup of sugar.
STEP 8.Stir well to form sugar syrup.
STEP 9.Add to the sugar syrup any food color of your choice and continue stirring.
STEP 10.Pour in ½ cup of coconut oil and stir mix well for 3-4 minutes.
STEP 11.Now pour in filtered flour mix and set the stove on a high flame with continuous stirring.
STEP 12.Add ½ cup of coconut oil
STEP 13.After 30minutes the solution will have a thick consistency.
STEP 14.Add to this, ¼ cup of coconut oil and 1tsp of cardamom powder.
STEP 15.With another half hour of continuous stirring, you will get a real thick and gel like consistency.
STEP 16.Turn off the flame and transfer the mix to the baking tray.
STEP 17.Refrigerate for 24 hours.
