Ingredients For Instant Masala Dabeli Tarts Recipe
as required For Tart Base (Choose any one):
1 nos Option : Ready-made mini tart shells (available at supermarkets)
2 nos Option : Salted Monaco biscuits or Krackjack – use as base
3 nos Option : Mini canapé shells or kurkure sev puri shells
as required For Filling (Instant Dabeli Mix):
2 nos medium boiled potatoes
as required Mashed
1 tbsp ½Dabeli masala (store-bought
as required e.g.
as required Garvi Gujarat or Catch)
1 tbsp ½tamarind chutney
3 tsp –oil or butter
as required salt to taste
as required Water
as required a splash to loosen texture
as required for topping:
2 tbsp roasted peanuts (or masala peanuts)
2 tbsp Pomegranate seeds
2 tbsp nylon sev
1 tbsp Chopped coriander
as required Tamarind chutney + garlic chutney for drizzle (optional)
as required finely chopped onion (optional)
Directions : Instant Masala Dabeli Tarts Recipe
STEP 1.1. Prepare filling:
STEP 2.In a pan, heat 1–2 tsp oil or butter.
STEP 3.Add Dabeli masala and a splash of water, cook for 20–30 seconds.
STEP 4.Add mashed potatoes, tamarind chutney, and salt. Mix well.
STEP 5.Cook 1–2 mins till combined. Turn off heat.
STEP 6.2. Assemble tarts:
STEP 7.Place tart shells (or biscuits) on a tray.
STEP 8.Spoon the warm potato filling into each.
STEP 9.Top with roasted peanuts, pomegranate, sev, and coriander.
STEP 10.Drizzle a little tamarind and garlic chutney on top.
STEP 11.3. Serve immediately — before the base softens.
