STEP 1.To make batter mix maida, cornflour, and salt in a bowl. Add water slowly to make a smooth batter (batter should be consistency of pancake batter or dosa batter).
STEP 2.Heat oil in a frying pan over medium high heat for shallow fry paneer pieces. Oil should be moderately hot.
STEP 3.Dip the paneer pieces in the batter, Then drop the paneer pieces slowly into oil in the frying pan.Fry the paneer in small batches.
STEP 4.Fry them turning occasionally, until they are golden. Take them out over paper napkin or tissue paper.
STEP 5.For sauce heat the oil in wok over medium heat, add ginger, garlic and green chili stir for about one minutes.
STEP 6.Add onion and fry till golden. Add capsicum and fry for a second. Add pinch of salt and mix. Take out some for garnishing in plate.
STEP 7.Add salt, soy sauce, vinegar, chili flakes, and tomato sauce, mix for 1 minute. Mix water and cornflour and add to the sauce. Cook for few minutes, consistency of the sauce will get semi thick.
STEP 8.Add paneer, and bell pepper into sauce. Keep mixing for few more minutes. Switch off the flame.
STEP 9.Chilli Paneer is ready, serve hot.
