Chenna poda is a famous dessert from the Indian state of Odisha. It is made of homemade fresh chhena, jaggery and dry fruits, and bake for an hour.
STEP 1.Mash the chenna with the help of a palm. Now add Jaggery to it. Then mash them well. Add Semolina and Cardamom powder to it. Knead the chenna mixture and add 2 tablespoons of water to it. Make the chenna like cake Batter. Now add chopped dry fruits in it mix well.
STEP 2.Meanwhile preheat the oven at 180 degrees Celsius for 10 minutes.
STEP 3.Ghee apply in the cake tin and pour chenna batter in it. Tap the cake tin to set the mixture. .Keep it in a preheated oven and bake chenna poda for 30 minutes or till the toothpick inserted comes out clean.
STEP 4.Take out cake tin and cool it on wired rack.Overturn the cake tin on a plate. Chenna poda is ready.
STEP 5.Garnish with Cashew.
