#BPF Makhana is also called phool Makhana or lotus seed or fox nuts. It is rich in nutrients, as it is rich in magnesium, potassium, fiber, iron, zinc etc.It is beneficial for the heart. It improves blood supply and is also helpful in preventing serious problems like heart attack. Curd strengthens teeth and bones. It is rich in phosphorus and calcium.It prevents the increase of cholesterol in our body, which improves blood flow and does not accumulate excess fat in the body. Apart from this, the use of curd is also very beneficial in problems like blood pressure.

Ingredients for Makhana Raita Recipe

  • 1/4 Cup Cucumber (Grated)
  • 0.06 Cup Onion (Chopped)
  • 1/4 Cup Makhana
  • 1/4 Cup Curd
  • 0.13 Tsp Black salt
  • 0.13 Tsp Red chilli powder
  • 0.06 Tsp Salt
  • 0.13 Tsp Roasted Cumin powder

Directions: Makhana Raita Recipe

  • STEP 1.Roast the makhana in a pan on low flame. When it gets crispy.turn off the flame.
  • STEP 2.Beat the curd and kept it aside in fridge. Then after sometime at the time of serving add, Makhana, Onion, cucumber and all spices. Mix well. Makhana Raita is ready.
  • STEP 3.Note
  • STEP 4.During fasting you can skip onion.
