However, recently, issues have arisen where vendors, hotels and restaurants are serving paneer’s doppleganger, called "analogue paneer" as a lower-cost replacement. While it may look and feel similar to ordinary paneer, analogue paneer differs significantly in its ingredients, nutritional value, and health benefits.
