STEP 1.In a mixing bowl put besan,sitric acid,sugar,salt, oil and mix it.
STEP 2.Now prepare the dhokla batter by adding water slowly and keep it covered for 10 minutes.
STEP 3.Now dissolve soda in 1 teaspoon of water and add it to the dhokla batter and mix it well. Put it in the pot and cook for 20-25 minutes.
STEP 4.Till then add water to the steamer and keep it hot and grease the plate for making dhokla.
STEP 5.Tempering ---Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, green chillies, curry leaves and sugar. Now add water and boil.
STEP 6.Now cut the dhokla with a knife and pour the tempering. Garnish with coriander and pomegranate and serve with chutney or sauce.
