Directions : Kadala Curry Recipe

STEP 2.Soak 1 cup black chickpea into water and leave it overnight.

STEP 3.Add chickpea in boiled water and steam it for 20 mins.

STEP 4.Then crush peppercorns and cumin seeds partially.

STEP 5.Prepare one bowl imli pulp water.

STEP 6.Prepare ginger garlic paste.

STEP 8.1.heat 2 tbsp oil,add mustard,curry leaves,whole red chilli.

STEP 9.2.add partially crushed black pepper and cumin seeds.

STEP 10.3.now add chopped onions and increase the flame and fry it until it appears golden brown.

STEP 11.4.now add cut pieces of potato and fry it for 5 mins.

STEP 12.5.now add ginger garlic paste and cook it on low flame for a minute.

STEP 13.6.add kashmiri red chilli powder, turmeric powder,tamarind water,coriander powder and little water.

STEP 14.7.then add black chickpea and mash it little,and chopped green chillies.

STEP 15.8.make it semi gravy,then add coconut milk and ghee for taste.
