Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.To make puttu, mix rice flour with salt and water to form a crumbly texture. Layer the mixture with grated coconut in a puttu maker and steam for 10-15 minutes.
  • STEP 2.To make kadala curry, soak black chickpeas overnight and cook until tender. In a separate pan, saut茅 onions, ginger, garlic, and spices. Add tomatoes and cooked chickpeas, and simmer for 10-15 minutes.
