Cooking Directions

• STEP 1.In a bowl, mix together ground beef, ginger, garlic, soy sauce, and breadcrumbs.
• STEP 2.Shape the mixture into small meatballs and thread them onto skewers.
• STEP 3.Preheat the grill to medium-high heat and lightly oil the grates.
• STEP 4.Grill the meatballs for about 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally, until cooked through.
• STEP 5.In a small saucepan, combine soy sauce, mirin, sugar, and water. Bring to a boil and simmer until the sauce thickens.
• STEP 6.Brush the sauce onto the meatballs during the last few minutes of grilling.
• STEP 7.Serve the Japanese Beef Tsukune hot, garnished with sesame seeds and green onions.
