STEP 1. heat 3 tsp oil in a wok and add 4 cloves finely chopped garlic, 1 cm finely chopped ginger and 1 tsp ground red peppercorn. Fry for a few seconds till fragrant.

STEP 1. lastly add 1 small bunch of coriander leaves roughly chopped and 2 spring onions roughly chopped.

STEP 1. chinese pumpkin stew is ready. serve hot.
