A very quick delicious roti prepared with gram flour. Besan ki masala roti is from the Haryana state in northern India. Haryana is also called the "Land of rotis" as it is more common in the local cuisine than any other state. Also rich in agriculture and cattle, it has enormous production of diary. Butter, ghee, milk and curd are in abundance.

1 cup wheat flour
1 teaspoon Ajwain
1 teaspoon turmeric powder
0.5 teaspoon red chilli powder
0.5 teaspoon cumin powder
0.5 teaspoon coriander powder

Directions : Besan Masala Roti Recipe

STEP 1.In a bowl take gram flour and wheat flour.

STEP 2.Add turmeric powder,ajwain,salt and mix everything well.

STEP 3.Add water little by little and make a smooth dough.

STEP 4.Cover the dough and keep it for some time.

STEP 5.Now in a bowl add red chilli powder,cumin powder, coriander powder,½ tsp turmeric powder, amchoor powder,melted ghee and mix well with a spoon.

STEP 6.Make balls of the dough and flatten it by pressing it in between palms

STEP 7.Then put the masala filling in the centre of the flattened dough and enclose it.

STEP 8.Flatten the stuffed roll on the rolling board with a bit of wheat flour dusting.

STEP 9.heat a tawa & place the roti onto it. Flip and cook from both the sides while applying some ghee.

STEP 10.Serve with yogurt and pickle.
