Bread dipped in gram flour batter and pan fried, flavoured with green chillies tomatoes and onions. The besan is for the crisp and tasty crunchy part of the recipe that makes the bread even more desirable. The othe r sauces that it can be served with really makes this tea time snack a winner. The crunchiness and the twist of masala catches on to your homely feeling of sitting in your balcony while its raining with a cuop of coffee and Masala besan bread.

Ingredients for Besan Masala Bread Toast Recipe

  • 1/2 cup Besan
  • 1 No.s Onion Finely Chopped
  • 1 No.s Tomato finely chopped
  • As required Coriander leaves finely chopped
  • 1 No.s Green chilli finely chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • As required Salt
  • As required Bread slices
  • As required Oil For Pan Frying

Directions: Besan Masala Bread Toast Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.To make the besan masala mixture, in a mixing bowl add ½ cup besan, 1 onion finely chopped, 1 tomato finely chopped, coriander leaves finely chopped, 1 green chilli finely chopped, ¼ tsp turmeric ( haldi) powder and salt to taste. Add ½ cup water and mix to make a smooth mixture.

  • STEP 1.Cut each bread slice into two triangles. Place each triangle in the besan mixture and coat it well.

step 3

  • STEP 1.Preheat a frying pan and drizzle oil for frying. Place the bread coatedwith the besan onion tomato mixture on the pan. Cook on medium flame until both sides are brown. Serve fresh.
