Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.In a pan, dry roast the gram flour on low heat until it turns golden brown and releases a nutty aroma.
  • STEP 2.In a separate pan, heat oil and add cumin seeds, mustard seeds, and curry leaves. Let them splutter.
  • STEP 3.Add chopped onions, ginger-garlic paste, and green chilies. Saute until the onions turn translucent.
  • STEP 4.Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, and salt. Mix well.
  • STEP 5.Add the roasted gram flour and cook for a few minutes, stirring continuously.
  • STEP 6.Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with roti or rice.
