Cooking Directions

• STEP 1.Preheat the tandoor to medium heat.
• STEP 2.Prepare the vanilla and chocolate cake batters.
• STEP 3.Pour a spoonful of vanilla batter into the center of a greased cake tin.
• STEP 4.Then, pour a spoonful of chocolate batter on top of the vanilla batter.
• STEP 5.Continue alternating between the two batters until the tin is filled.
• STEP 6.Place the cake tin in the preheated tandoor and cover with a lid.
• STEP 7.Bake for about 45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
• STEP 8.Remove the cake tin from the tandoor and let it cool for a few minutes.
• STEP 9.Carefully remove the cake from the tin and let it cool completely on a wire rack.
• STEP 10.Once cooled, slice and serve the zebra cake.
• STEP 11.Store any leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
