Za'atar Popcorn Recipe

Cooking Directions

• STEP 1.Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C).
• STEP 2.In a small bowl, mix together 2 tablespoons of za'atar spice blend, 1 teaspoon of salt, and 1/4 cup of melted butter.
• STEP 3.Place 1/2 cup of popcorn kernels in a large pot with a tight-fitting lid. Heat the pot over medium heat and shake it occasionally to prevent burning.
• STEP 4.Once the popcorn starts popping, continue shaking the pot until the popping slows down to 2-3 seconds between pops. Remove from heat.
• STEP 5.Pour the za'atar spice mixture over the popcorn and toss to coat evenly.
• STEP 6.Spread the coated popcorn onto a baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes, stirring halfway through.
• STEP 7.Remove from the oven and let it cool before serving.
• STEP 8.Store any leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
