The best part is that these are made with whole wheat flour. Relish these guilt free sandwiches at any time when you have those sudden hunger pangs. Manakish or manakeesh or manousheh (plural) is a dough topped with herbs, thyme, cheese or ground meat native to levant region (which comprises of modern day syria, lebanon, israel, jordan and palestine).
