An easy,quick spicy malaysian dish comprising of chillies,belacan and lime juice.Sambal Belacan - a Malaysian condiment made with fresh red chilies, lime juice, salt and sugar. Sambal Belacan is the building block of Malaysian cooking.
STEP 1.Remove seeds from chillies and cut into small pieces
STEP 2.Toast belacan in a pan for about 3-5 mins. let it cool down.
STEP 3.Transfer chilies and toasted belacan to a good processor and grind finely. Squeeze in the lime juice to the ground mixture and mix it well.
STEP 4.If not consumed right away then transfer into a container and store in a refrigerator. Squeeze some lime juice before serving and consumed within 2-3 days.
