Let's try Papad Namkeen at your home and treat your family members and guests with healthy and tasty Namkeen this Diwali.
STEP 1.1 cup means = 230 ml Urad dal papad 8 Puffed Rice 200gm (Murmura) Oil ¼ cup Turmeric powder ½ tbsp Barik Sev 1+½ cup Red chilli powder 2 tsp Asafoetida (Hing) ¼ tsp Citric Acid 2 pinch Sugar Powder 3 tbsp Salt to taste
Directions
STEP 1.Take urad dal papad, fry it and keep aside.
STEP 2. In one kadhai, take 200 gm of puffed rice. Roast them properly till crisp.
STEP 3.Take oil in another kadhai, add turmeric powder and switch off the gas.
STEP 4.Now add crisp puffed rice and mix it well.
STEP 5.Now roast it on a slow flame until all puffed rice turns yellow and then switch off the gas.
STEP 6.Take fried urad papad and break it into small pieces by hand. Add these pieces into puffed rice and mix it well.
STEP 7. Also add barik sev, salt, red chilli powder along papad pieces.
STEP 8.Put 2 tbsp oil into a tadka pan, add 1 tsp turmeric powder, ¼ tsp asafoetida, 2 pinch citric acid. Add this tadka mixture in puffed rice and mix it well.
STEP 9.Let the mixture cool for about 15 minutes and then add 3 tbsp sugar powder to it and mix the whole namkeen. Papad Namkeen is ready to serve.
