If you decide to make these, I have a couple of tips that you must keep in your mind. Make sure to knead the dough hard, don’t forget to chop dry fruits very finely, while applying water on the sides of the square make sure to stick it well so that the dry fruit filling does not come out while frying.

Ingredients for Sweet Crown Recipe

  • 1/2 Cup All purpose flour
  • 1.50 Pinches Salt
  • 1 Tsp Desi ghee
  • 1 Tsp Coconut powder
  • 1 Tsp Sugar powdered
  • 2 Tsp Chocolate syrup
  • 1/2 Tsp Cardamom powder
  • 1 Cups Refined oil
  • 1/2 Cup Chopped dry fruits

Directions

  • STEP 1.1. First of all, take a huge bowl, put flour in it, add salt and ghee and mix it well.
  • STEP 2.2. Take a large bowl and add finely chopped dry fruits, coconut powder, sugar powder, cardamom powder and mix well.
  • STEP 3.3. Roll 2 tablespoons of the dough into a ball and flatten it into a thin roti.
  • STEP 4.4. Now cut the roti from all sides to give it a square shape.
  • STEP 5.5. Now cut the square roti into four square equal parts.
  • STEP 6.6. Take water in a small bowl.
  • STEP 7.7. Now take a square and place the prepared masala of dry fruits in the center and add the opposite corner with the help of water and give a triangle shape to the square.
  • STEP 8.8. Now connect both the bottom corners of the triangle in the middle with the help of water.
  • STEP 9.9. Prepare the remaining squares in the same way by giving the shape of the crown.
  • STEP 10.10.Now take oil in a pan and pre heat it on medium flame for 2 minutes.
  • STEP 11.11.Now fry in hot oil on low flame till the colour turns golden brown.
  • STEP 12.12. Now take out the crowns in a plate and pour chocolate syrup on top of it when it cools.
