An easy delicious dish prepared from sole fish. Fried in oil with the coating of batter of rice flour and paste of herbs . Goes as a easy to make side dish and quite famous in south India.Spicy in taste.Good for health.
STEP 1.Grind and make a paste of cumin seeds,garlic cloves & red chilli on grinding stone.
STEP 2.Marinate the fish with the paste,some salt and keep it for a while.
STEP 3.In a bowl add gram flour & half rice flour
STEP 4.Add ½ tsp asafoetida powder,1 tsp baking soda & ½ tsp kesari powder
STEP 5.Add 1 tsp salt
STEP 6.Then add the remaining grinded red chilli paste.
STEP 7.Add water and make a thick batter.
STEP 8.Add oil in a pan & heat it.
STEP 9.Now dip the marinated fish in the batter & fry it in the oil
STEP 10.Flip and fry from both the sides until golden brown.
