STEP 1.In a bowl add masa harina, baking powder and salt
STEP 2.Mix and add some water
STEP 3.Add 1 ½ tbsp olive oil
STEP 4.Mix gradually until a soft dough form
STEP 5.Cover and rest for 10mins
STEP 6.With wet hands roll 6 masa balls
STEP 7.Gently pat the balls to form gorditas
STEP 8.Cover and rest the gorditas
STEP 9.Heat a skillet with oil
STEP 10.Fry the gorditas each side
STEP 11.Set paper towel to drain the excess fat
STEP 12.Use a knife to cut into half and add the filling
