Ingredients for Goru Mettilu Recipe

  • 100 gram Flour
  • 25 gram Rava
  • 20 gram Ghee
  • As required Salt
  • 1/4 liter Water for kneading
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cardamom powder
  • As required oil for friyng

How to Make Goru Mettilu Recipe

STEP 01

In a mixing bowl add maida, rava, ghee and salt .

STEP 02

Mix everything and add water in small quantities to prepare a dough.

STEP 03

Now take a small amount of dough and prepare a shape of mettilu with your fingers by pressing and passing on the forward direction(moon shape).

STEP 04

Take a pot, heat oil for frying and add the moon shaped mettilu in the pot, fry them for 2-3 minutes then remove from the oil and place in a plate.

STEP 05

For sugar syrup in a pot add 50ml of water and 2 cups of sugar and let the sugar dissolve in the syrup completely.

STEP 06

Now drop the fried mettilu in the syrup and let it immerse for 1 minute.

STEP 07

Remove excess syrup and let mettilu rest for 5 minutes.

STEP 08

Serve on a plate and enjoy.
