A spicy tangy noodle salad tossed with crunchy spring onion and coriander leaves and seasoned with a spicy sauce of garlic, chilli and flavoured with toasted sesame.
STEP 1.in a mixing bowl add 4 cloves finely chopped garlic, 4 tsp toasted sesame seeds, 1 tsp chili powder.
STEP 1.heat 1 tsp oil in a wok till the oil emits smoke. Pour the smoking oil over the ingredients in the mixing bowl and stir immediately .
STEP 2.then add 4 tbsp light soy sauce , salt to taste, ½ tsp chicken granules, 2 to 3 tbsp rice wine vinegar and 1 tsp sesame oil. Mix together well and keep aside. fill a pot with water and bring it to a boil.
add 250 gm noodles to the water. Once the water begins to boil again, turn the heat to medium. Cook for 5 minutes.
STEP 3.remove the noodles from the pan and transfer them to a colander. Drain the water and place the noodles under cold running water for 2 minutes. keep them aside and let the excess water drain.
once the noodles are well drained, place them in a large salad bowl and add the prepared sauce mixture.
STEP 4.add 4 finely chopped spring onions, 50 gm finely chopped coriander leaves and mix well to combine all the ingredients and the flavours together. garlic sesame noodle salad is ready.
