Ingredients For Fried Onion Massala Chicken Recipe
500 Gm Chicken
1 Cup Fried onion
2 Tablespoon Dahi (curd)
2 Tsp turmeric powder
1 Tsp red chilli powder
5 Pieces peppercorns
1 Pieces tomato
10 Pieces thick garlic cloves
2 Tsp ginger paste
To Taste salt
1 Tsp garam massala powder
0.5 Tsp cumin seeds
0.5 Cup water
1 Tablespoon Desi Ghee as required for frying
1 Pinches Sugar (to taste)
3 Pieces pieces green chillies chopped into
1 Pieces Garlic (
3 Tablespoon Mustard oil
5 Pieces Cashews
Directions : Fried Onion Massala Chicken Recipe
STEP 1.First Marinate the chicken with curd, fried onion, 1tsp turmeric powder, salt, 1tsp red chilli powder and Black peppers. Keep marinated for 1 hour.
STEP 2.Next in a blender take garlic cloves, cashews & tomato make a fine paste.
STEP 3.Now heat a pan and add oil, temper with cumin seeds and add the marinated chicken. Fry for 10 to 12 minutes.
STEP 4.Next add rest of turmeric powder, some salt the whole garlic, ginger paste and the tomato-garlic-cashew paste. Give it a nice stir and cook in medium flame. Keep stirring in between.
STEP 5.When oil comes out from the massala add pinch of sugar, garam massala powder and green chillies. Mix well and cook for another 5 minutes.
STEP 6.Next add water, cover and cook for 5 to 7 minutes.
STEP 7.Finally open the lid, add ghee and sprinkle some fried onions. Turn off the flame, keep in standing times and then serve with rice or roti.
