150 gram Chicken Breast
1 tablespoon Cumin powder
2 tablespoon Sesame Seeds
1 tablespoon Coriander seeds powder
1 teaspoon Red chili powder
3 tablespoon Cornflour

Directions : Chinese Crispy Fried Cumin Chicken Recipe

STEP 1.1 in a frying pan toast 2 tbsp of sesame seeds for 1 ½ minute.

STEP 2.2 transfer toa mortar and pestle and grind till coarse.

STEP 3.3 to this add 1 tbsp cumin powder, 1 tbsp coriander powder, 1 tsp chili powder ( optional ) and salt to taste. Mix well together.

STEP 4.4 cut 150 gm chicken breast into thin strips.

STEP 5.5 place this in a large mixing bowl and add 3 tbsp cornflour or 6 tbsp breadcrumbs. Toss well together to ensure that chicken is evenly coated.

STEP 6.6 in a wok heat 1 ltr of oil till smoking hot, add the chicken strips and deep fry for 8 minutes.

STEP 7.7 using a slotted spoon remove and drain the chicken.

STEP 8.8 place them on a kitchen paper towel to drain off the excess oil.

STEP 9.9 sprinkle the chicken with the prepared spice mix and serve hot.
