A crispy,soft fries prepared from deep frying/baking yuca . Baked yuca fries are golden and crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. They’re a healthier way to make yuca fries and served up with cilantro lime mayonnaise.
STEP 2.Cut cassava into three pieces and then cut lengthwise and remove the middle hard thin thread like structure.
STEP 3.Then cut the cassava into fries of equal size.
STEP 4.Wash and drain off the water
STEP 5.Then take out the cassava from the pot to either bake/fry them. In case of baking gently brush the cassava with oil and bake them.
STEP 6.Before baking sprinkle some salt and black pepper. preheat the oven at 420 degree celsius and bake them.
STEP 7.Serve with ketchup or hot sauce .
