STEP 1.Start with plucking the water spinach leaves from the stem. Wash them thoroughly.

STEP 1.Then brush the shell off the fish and cut them into moderate pieces. Chop the onion , green chili and potato.

STEP 1.coat the fish with 1tsp turmeric and 1tsp salt. Let it sit for 10 mins.

STEP 1. then take a kadai to add the right amount of oil and fry the fish evenly from all side, wait for the fishes to turn golden-brown.

STEP 1.Take a saucepan, heat 7-8tsp of cooking oil. Then add the chopped onions and green chili, fry them. Wait for the onions to get translucent.

STEP 1.Then add the ginger paste, garlic paste and cumin paste saute them well. Later add the spices- 1tsp turmeric powder, 1tsp chili powder, and salt to taste.

STEP 1.Add some water and saute them again. Add the chopped potatoes and mix it well with the masala.

STEP 1.Add some more water, cover it, and let the potatoes cook. Then add the water spinach and saute them with the masala and potato. Again cover it.

STEP 1.Now add the fried fishes and give it a good mix. Lastly, add coriander leave and cover it for more 5mins.

STEP 1.Stir it occasionally and cover it again. Once all the flavors are enhanced. Turn off the gas.

STEP 1.Serve it with steamed rice and enjoy.
