On Sunday, Malaika gave us a glimpse of Arjun’s Birthday brunch, which the actor seemed rather kicked about.
Actor Arjun Kapoor rang in his 37th birthday in Paris recently. The ‘City of Love’ as it is called seems to have rubbed off on the actor, as he decided to let go of his diet and throng local cafes, bakeries, and bistros for some delicious Parisian delicacies. The actor is joined by his girlfriend, fashion and fitness diva Malaika Arora, who was also not able to resist the carbs and calories.
On Sunday, Malaika gave us a glimpse of Arjun’s Birthday brunch, which the actor seemed rather kicked about. “Sunday hai aur birthday bhi hai...brunch tho banta hai”, Malaika wrote in the caption of her Instagram post. The duo clad in white can be seen chomping on a juicy meat burger and fries. Arjun can also be seen feeding Malaika fries very lovingly in one of the videos. And it seems like Malaika is rather fond of fries, as in one of the Instagram stories posted by the 48-year-old actor, she wrote, “When in Paris, fries before guys....”. But Malaika left no stone unturned in making Arjun’s birthday feel special, from sending him multi-layered cakes to feeding him French toast from her plate, the couple has decided that for this little getaway, they will relish in all things nice and delish.
The bingeing, mind you, started well before Arjun’s birthday. Within hours of landing in Paris, Arjun and Malaika hit a cutesy bakery in Paris and delighted themselves with a plate of Mille Feuille, a delicate confection, made with layers of thin, crispy pastry, and vanilla cream. It is also known as Napoleon Cake and the delicate dessert is very popular in Russia too. Along with this, they also called with a moist and tempting, star-shaped chocolate pastry topped with raspberries, blueberries and ice cream.
Now doesn’t that make you a wee bit envious? While not all of us can make it to Paris for a brunch, we can definitely treat ourselves to a nice and loaded mutton burger? Here’s a recipe we swear by. Try it soon and let us know how you liked it. Pair it with any dip or condiment of your choice.
