STEP 1.In a pan add 3 litres of milk and let it boil.

STEP 1.In a bowl take maida, namak and a little bit of water. Mix it well.

STEP 1.In a bowl take ½ cup curd, a pinch of tatri, and whisk it.

STEP 1.Add the curd into the boiling milk and keep on stirring it.

STEP 1.Cook it for 4 hours on low flame until the milk is reduced.

STEP 1.Now add 2 ½ cups of sugar and mix it for a few minutes.

STEP 1.Now add ½ cup ghee and mix it nicely and add chopped almonds in it

STEP 1.Turn off the flame when the mixture becomes thick and take it out in a big tray.

STEP 1.Let it cool and set for a while and your sohan halwa is ready to be served.
