Directions : Sambal Nasi Lemak Recipe

STEP 1.Grind garlic,fresh and dried chilli peppers and half of the dried anchovies in a paste

STEP 2.Slice the shallots

STEP 3.Add oil in a pan and heat it. now add the remaining anchovies and saute them and keep it aside .

STEP 4.Separately in a pan add the ground ingredients and saute it. Add sliced shallots , water followed by coconut milk , tarmarind paste and cook it well for 3-4 mins.

STEP 5.Turn off the flame and then add fried anchovies. Add salt , sugar and mix thoroughly and then serve.
