Directions : Salt And Pepper Pork With Apple Recipe

STEP 1.1 in a bowl add 300 gm pork fillet put into 1 cm by 7 cm long strips, add 2 cloves garlic crushed toa paste, 1 tbsp cooking wine, 1 tbsp light soy sauce and mix well to coat the pork. Leave to marinate for 15 minutes.

STEP 2.2 add 4 tbsp cornflour and mix well to coat the pork.

STEP 3.3 in a wok heat 1 ltr oil over medium heat. Test the temperature of the oil by dipping the end of a wooden chopstick or spoon in the oil. If it begins to bubble immediately then the oil has reached the correct temperature.

STEP 4.4 add the pieces of pork one at a time into the hot oil and deep fry for 4 minutes.

STEP 6.5 then remove and drain the pork.

STEP 7.6 in a pan heat 1 tbsp oil, add 2 roughly chopped spring onions, 1 green and 1 red chilli deseeded and finely chopped, 5 gm ginger finely chopped and stir fry for 10 seconds.

STEP 8.7 add the deep fried pork to the pan and stir .

STEP 9.8 add 1 tsp ground black pepper and salt to taste and stir fry for a few seconds.

STEP 10.9 transfer to a serving dish and serve with apple sauce on the side.
