• 1 cup Broccoli pieces i used frozen but could use fresh
• 1 cup 2 medium carrots chopped

• 1 teaspoon Minced garlic
• 1 teaspoon Black pepper
• 1 teaspoon Salt optional
• 14 ounce 1 can 99% fat free chicken broth
• 0.5 teaspoon Thyme
• 2 tablespoon Butter or margarine
• 5 cup Water
• 2 cup Milk i used 2
• 0.25 cup All purpose flour
• Shredded cheese of your choice for garnish
