Cucumbers (gherkins) are pickled in brine or vinegar to make these pickles. The pickle gives the dish a sour, salty, and umami (savoury) flavour. For many cookouts, potato salad has been a staple. STEP 01
Peel the potatoes
STEP 02
Boil water in a pot and boil the potatoes in it

When it becomes tender strain and add vinegar and salt then mash the potatoes

Cut the cucumbers and carrots, season with salt and leave for 3mins

Squeeze out the water

Cut ham and eggs into thin slices
