Directions : Hilsa With Eggplant Curry Recipe

STEP 1.Cut eggplant into pieces and wash them with water

STEP 2.Cut hilsa into pieces, clean it properly and wash them with lukewarm water.

STEP 3.First take kadai and pour cooking oil in it for heating.

STEP 4.Now add chopped onions on it.

STEP 5.Now add green chilli paste , cumin paste , garlic paste.

STEP 6.Now add salt( according to taste) , turmeric powder 1 ½ tbsp and red chilli powder 2 tbsp.

STEP 7.Cook it for 5 min and now add washed fish into it and fry them a little.

STEP 8.Now take out the fried fish pieces and add the cut eggplant pieces into it

STEP 9.Now add 4 cups of water, cover it and cook until the eggplant gets softer a bit.

STEP 10.Now add fish pieces which was kept aside and after adding them to kadai cover it and cook for 5-7 more mins and your fish is ready to serve
