How to Make Hilsa With Eggplant Curry Recipe

STEP 01

Cut eggplant into pieces and wash them with water

STEP 02

Cut hilsa into pieces, clean it properly and wash them with lukewarm water.

STEP 03

First take kadai and pour cooking oil in it for heating.

STEP 04

Now add chopped onions on it.

STEP 05

Now add green chilli paste , cumin paste , garlic paste.

STEP 06

Now add salt( according to taste) , turmeric powder 1 ½ tbsp and red chilli powder 2 tbsp.

STEP 07

Cook it for 5 min and now add washed fish into it and fry them a little.

STEP 08

Now take out the fried fish pieces and add the cut eggplant pieces into it

STEP 09

Now add 4 cups of water, cover it and cook until the eggplant gets softer a bit.

STEP 10

Now add fish pieces which was kept aside and after adding them to kadai cover it and cook for 5-7 more mins and your fish is ready to serve
