A very simple and easy prawn curry that is impeccable in taste and rejuvenates your moods while you work your appetite for more. The taste is slightly crunchy, meaty with a note of sweetness.
STEP 1.Take a bowl, add the prawns and marinate it with 1tsp fish sauce and turmeric (mix generously).
STEP 2.Now take a blender, add the 6-7 dry red chilies, 5-6 garlic cloves, and 2 onion, and give it a good blend. Don’t make a paste but it should be minced.
STEP 3.In a saucepan add 6-7 tbsp cooking oil to heat, then add the minced veggies, and saute then well.
STEP 4.Then add 1tbsp chili powder, and mix it with the veggies. Add little water and give it a good mix.
STEP 5.Add 1tsp shrimp paste and mix it well. Add a little more water, cover it with a lid and let it simmer for 5-6mins.
STEP 6.Now add the marinated prawns and mix them well. Add 1tbsp masala powder for good aroma, salt to taste, and mix it.
STEP 7.Cover it with a lid and let simmer for 2 to 3mins. Give it a good mix.
STEP 8.Garnish it with some chopped cilantro.
