How to Make Burmese Prawn Curry Recipe
STEP 01
Take a bowl, add the prawns and marinate it with 1tsp fish sauce and turmeric (mix generously).
STEP 02
Now take a blender, add the 6-7 dry red chilies, 5-6 garlic cloves, and 2 onion, and give it a good blend. Don’t make a paste but it should be minced.
STEP 03
In a saucepan add 6-7 tbsp cooking oil to heat, then add the minced veggies, and saute then well.
STEP 04
Then add 1tbsp chili powder, and mix it with the veggies. Add little water and give it a good mix.
STEP 05
Add 1tsp shrimp paste and mix it well. Add a little more water, cover it with a lid and let it simmer for 5-6mins.
STEP 06
Now add the marinated prawns and mix them well. Add 1tbsp masala powder for good aroma, salt to taste, and mix it.
STEP 07
Cover it with a lid and let simmer for 2 to 3mins. Give it a good mix.
STEP 08
Garnish it with some chopped cilantro.
