STEP 1.In a large bowl cover the salt cod with cold water and refrigerate it for 2 days.

STEP 1.Boil potatoes in a salt cod cooking water for 20 minutes. Now mash the potatoes with cod in a bowl. Add onions, garlic, cilantro and egg yolks. Add salt and pepper then sprinkle flour and pour the egg whites too.

STEP 1.Form small balls from the mixture and ¼ cup each and then roll into bread crumbs.

STEP 1.Now put them on a baking sheet and heat some oil. Fry the cod balls in batches. Serve hot.
