• 2 cup Water
• 0.5 teaspoon White sugar

• 1 pound Dried spaghetti
• 2 Optional slices or prosciutto or bacon or 1 fresh italian sausage, removed from casing and finely chopped
• As required Additional salt and freshly ground pepper, to taste
• Handful of fresh baby arugula
