Ingredients For Rice and pomegranate firni#BSK Recipe
1 Cup small basmati rice
1 Cup makhana or fox nut
0.5 Cup half grind pomegranate
6 Tsp Pomegranate juice
1 Tsp Ghee
To Taste Sugar
1 Litre Milk
0.5 Cup mixed half crushed nuts
Directions : Rice and pomegranate firni#BSK Recipe
STEP 1.First half grind the makhana. Wash and soak the rice then half grind the rice too.
STEP 2.Heat the ghee and stir the half grind rice for a few seconds.
STEP 3.Now reduce the milk into half then add the rice. When the rice becomes half boiled add the makhana.
STEP 4.When both rice and makhana cooked properly add the sugar or one type of caramelized lollipop we Bengali called it "batasa".
STEP 5.At last add half grind pomegranate seeds and put off the flame. Now after putting off the flame add pomegranate juice and mixed nuts
STEP 6.Serve it with some pomegranate seeds.
