Perfect crispy chakli made instantly & hastle free. It is made only with 2 main ingredients. Roasted puffed chana dal/futane & rice flour. The most simple recipe of best crunchy chaklis. A perfect snack to munch on.
STEP 1.Add puffed chana dal/futane to a mixie jar & make fine powder.
STEP 2.Now sift it & mix it with rice flour.
STEP 3.In a vessel add 2 cups water & heat it.
STEP 4.Add salt, turmeric, red chilli powder, cumin & coriander powder, sesame seeds, hing & 1 tspn oil to water.
STEP 5.Let the water come to boil.
STEP 6.Once boiled reduce gas flame & add the mixed flour.
STEP 7.Mix it well & turn off gas flame.
STEP 8.Cover & keep aside for 5 - 10 mins.
STEP 9.Knead the mixture n make semi stiff dough while it is still warm.
STEP 10.Add extra 1/2 cup hot water while kneading if u feel the flour mixture dry.
STEP 11.Once dough is ready, add it to Chakli mould & press out chaklis.
STEP 12.Deep fry them on medium high gas flame.
