Ingredients for Instant Dal Rice Chakli Recipe

  • 0.13 Cup Puffed chana dal
  • 1/4 Cups Rice flour
  • 1/2 Tsp Coriander powder
  • 1/4 Tsp Cumin powder
  • As Required Salt as per taste
  • 1/4 Cups Water
  • 0.38 Tsp Red chilli powder
  • 1/4 Pinches Turmeric powder
  • A Pinch Hing
  • 0.13 Tsp Oil
  • 0.13 Tbsp Sesame seeds

Directions: Instant Dal Rice Chakli Recipe

  • STEP 1.Add puffed chana dal/futane to a mixie jar & make fine powder.
  • STEP 2.Now sift it & mix it with rice flour.
  • STEP 3.In a vessel add 2 cups water & heat it.
  • STEP 4.Add salt, turmeric, red chilli powder, cumin & coriander powder, sesame seeds, hing & 1 tspn oil to water.
  • STEP 5.Let the water come to boil.
  • STEP 6.Once boiled reduce gas flame & add the mixed flour.
  • STEP 7.Mix it well & turn off gas flame.
  • STEP 8.Cover & keep aside for 5 - 10 mins.
  • STEP 9.Knead the mixture n make semi stiff dough while it is still warm.
  • STEP 10.Add extra 1/2 cup hot water while kneading if u feel the flour mixture dry.
  • STEP 11.Once dough is ready, add it to Chakli mould & press out chaklis.
  • STEP 12.Deep fry them on medium high gas flame.
