The dish consists of low fat mince mixed with tomato paste, garlic and spices which are all smeared on a thin round of pita dough. It is an exquisite treat for any special evening.
STEP 1.Combine salep, sugar and vanilla powder in a bowl.
STEP 2.Boil the milk a little and add the salep mixture gradually.
STEP 3.Make sure that no lumps are left.
STEP 4.It reaches the pudding consistency as it is cooked.
STEP 5.Keep the heat to the lowest for 30-40 minutes.
STEP 6.Let it cool.
STEP 7.Pour it to a bowl and put in the freezer .
STEP 8.Leave it for 30 minutes.
STEP 9.Take it out and whisk constantly with a fork for 2-3 minutes.
STEP 10.Scrape the ice crystals you see around the top of the container.
STEP 11.Put it back into the freezer.
STEP 12.Repeat this 4-5 times in every 30 minutes.
STEP 13.You will see how it stretches when whisking.
STEP 14.Transfer the mixture in an airtight container and freeze for 5 hours.
