1 Cup - Buttermilk
1.5 Cups All-purpose flour (Maida) -
1 Tsp - Paprika
1 Tsp Garlic Powder:
0.5 Tsp Onion powder
As required Salt And Black Pepper To Taste

How to Cook Air Fryer Buttermilk Fried Chicken

STEP 1.Pour buttermilk over chicken. Add a pinch of salt and let it soak for at least 1 hour (overnight = perfection).

STEP 1.Mix flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, pepper, and cayenne. Take each piece from the buttermilk, dredge it in the flour mixture, then gently press to coat. Lightly spray each piece with oil. No soggy crusts here.

STEP 2.Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C). Place chicken in the basket, don’t crowd. Cook for 12 minutes, flip, spray again, and cook for 10 more minutes until golden, crispy, and internal temp hits 165°F.

STEP 3.Let it rest 5 minutes to keep the juices in. Serve with coleslaw, honey mustard, or just a smile.
