While we all know Virat Kohli as the star of Indian cricket, the sportsman is also a hard-core foodie. A Delhi-based Punjabi boy who made his claim to fame in Indian cricket with his great performances has managed to stun us all with his chain of restaurants too. Didn’t you know that Virat owns One8 Commune? And now, he’s planning to bring it to Mumbai too.

The cricketer recently announced that he’ll be launching the latest outlet of his chain of One8 restaurants in Juhu, Mumbai. Where, you ask? That’s where all the charm lies. According to reports by News18.com, the new outlet will be inside the legendary singer, Kishore Kumar’s iconic bungalow. The late singer was a great legend of the Indian music industry and gave us some of the best songs to remember.

To commemorate the place and his art, Virat has leased a part of Kishore’s house for his new restaurant. Currently, One8 Commune is operational in metro cities like Delhi and Kolkata. The cricketer owns several One8 brands and the significance of the number is that his Jersey goes by the same number 18. One8 Commune is a multi-cuisine restaurant that serves Continental and Asian food.

The restaurant’s page also announced the same by adding “Juhu, Mumbai #comingsoon”. Virat is a die-hard foodie. Since he’s turned a vegetarian, he loves eating ghar ke rajma chawal. He also expressed something in one of his interviews that he loves Chole Bhature. The cricketer also says that he likes to drink thick and creamy lassi whenever he’s in Delhi. A desi at heart, Virat cannot say no to good homemade food.
