The rich creamy dish is an amazing treat which can be prepared easily at home. The key to bringing a perfect texture to this recipe is to churn it properly in a blender. It can become rock solid and hard if not churned properly.

The recipe can be prepared in good quantity at once and can be devoured for a few weeks after getting ready. Just freeze it properly. The velvety texture as well as sweet and tangy flavours of Mango Sorbet is loved by kids and is a well-suited weekend dessert.

Here’s how to prepare this delightful Mango Sorbet at home easily.

Cooking Time: 14 hours 15 minutes

Servings: 5 scoop

Ingredients:

•           1 cup Mango Pulp

•           1/4 cup of Sugar

•           1/4 cup of Water

•           1.5 tsp Lemon Juice

Method:

  1. Take some mangoes and peel them off. Now, chop the collected pulp into small pieces. Take a mixer and put these pieces into it and blend them to form a fine puree.
  2. Next, take a pan and add sugar and water to it. Heat and let them boil on a medium flame. Once the sugar dissolves completely, turn off the flame. There is no need to worry about the consistency of the syrup. Once the syrup is ready, let it cool down to room temperature for a while.
  3. When the sugar syrup is settled and cooled down, put 1 cup of mango puree into this syrup and combine them.
  4. Next, add lemon juice to it as well and mix them till everything combines well. Once, done, put it over freezer friendly container and freeze the mixer for approximately 2 hours.
  5. Once it gets frozen, take it out from the freezer and blend once again using a mixer. Now again put it back in the freezer for some hours to freeze again.
  6. Repeat this process of mixing and freezing around 4 times. And then finally freeze it for another 6 to 8 hours or overnight. It is done to improve the texture. With every churn in the blender it gets better.
  7. Finally, the Mango Sorbet is ready. Scoop out and serve it immediately!

Important Points To Note:

  1. You can always reduce the amount of sugar used as per your taste as well as depending upon the sweetness of mango.
  2. Make sure to use lemon as it will enrich the overall texture of the recipe.
  3. Continuous churning is needed to give this recipe a perfect texture. Ensure to follow the freezing process properly to bring joyful flavours to this recipe.
  4. The Mango Sorbet is a delicious recipe which has both sweet and tangy flavours.
