Sara Ali Khan turned 27 yesterday on August 12, and the favourite of a whole generation celebrated in true Sara style. Known for having exotic vacations and sharing dreamy pictures from them, Sara is on her latest adventures in one of the most happening destinations in the world- New York City, with her closest friends. And as she turned a year older, Sara’s friends made sure to make it the most special one for her. The birthday girl, being an absolute foodie, received a bash that was full of decadence. And luckily for us, we got a little sneak peek into her birthday celebration too.
Sharing snippets of the celebration on her Instagram Stories, Sara kept her following of over 40 million updated with her birthday shenanigans. Sara has been in the United States for over a week now, and let’s just say she has kept aside her commitment to diet. She has been sharing her food indulgences on Instagram quite a lot, and her birthday celebration was no different. Keeping up with the tradition of multiple cakes, Sara indulged in two yummy0looking cakes.
The first one which we saw was a small chocolate layered cake, generously coated with chocolate, with a sparkling candle standing tall on the cake. You just can’t miss the interesting toppings, which also includes a leaf. Check out the mini cake here:
On to the second cake, at a separate party and a different restaurant, Sara was joined by her friends, and was seen sitting at a table with a small vanilla cake. It was laced with a decadent chocolate icing. The silky-smooth cake caught Sara’s fancy so much that she just scooped it off with a spoon full to enjoy.
Well, a cake is loved by most people across age groups, and when it is chocolate, foodies simply cannot keep their cravings at bay. And Sara is known to be a complete foodie. So much that many of her wishes on the big day too came with a foodie spin. Kareena Kapoor Khan, for instance, shared one of the most adorable pictures of Sara from her childhood playing with her father Saif Ali Khan. Kareena wrote ‘Happy birthday darling Sara’, and wished unlimited pizza slices and cakes for her as she added emojis of the same.
